How To Delete A User Account In Windows XP Text

This tutorial will show you how to delete user accounts from your Windows XP Operating System. This is a quick and easy process and you can save the files during the deletion process ( just in case you was wondering ).



Step One

Click on Start and select Run
Or
Hold down the windows key and Press R then click OK

Step Two

Type in nusrmgr.cpl then Click OK.

Step Three

Click on the User Account that you wish to delete
I'll be demonstrating with my Test Account named Account Name.

Choose account to delete

Step Four

Click on Delete the account.

Select Delete the account

Step Four

Note: You can save the files that this user has accumulated by Clicking Keep Files (They will be saved to a folder on YOUR desktop).
If you do not wish to keep the files Click Delete Files
for this tutorials purposes we are clicking delete files.

Click Delete Files

Step Five

Click Delete Account to confirm deletion.

Click Delete Account to confirm

Account Deleted

You have just successfully deleted a User Account from your computer. If you did decided to save the files that this user had then they will be in a folder on your desktop.
