How To Remove The Password From Your User Account In Windows XP
This tutorial is going to show you how to remove the password from your user account, this will enable you to login to your computer faster as you wont have to enter a password to login to windows you will just click on your user name.
Note: If you share your computer or if there is a possibility of someone else using your computer you might not want to remove your password.
Step One
Click on Start and select Run
Or
Hold down the windows key and Press R then click OK
Step Two
Type in nusrmgr.cpl then Click OK.
Step Three
Click on the User Account you wish to remove the password from.
I'll be demonstrating with my Test Account named Account Name.
Step Four
Click on Remove the Password.
Step Four
Confirm Password Removal by Clicking Remove Password.
Password Removed!
You have now successfully removed the password from the account you picked on next login via that account name you will not be required to enter a password, if its your only account then windows will auto login without you even clicking.
